Because there is one file "msvcr120.dll" missing in the Windows 11 OS. If you already have iFace Designer® V2.0.01 installed on your Windows 11 PC, you can download this file from Novakon website (Support page) and put it in the NOVAKON iFace folder then open iFace Designer® again.  If you haven't had the iFace Designer® V2.0.01 installed on your PC, download the latest version where this file is incorporated already from Novakon website.

The user interface that we chose to use for iFACE Designer is the modern Ribbon UI, which has been widely utilized in many of the latest software packages such as Microsoft Office, Windows and so on. Its main advantage is that it helps users quickly find relevant directives and actions, saving precious processing time.

First, determine whether the [PLC Setting] is set to multiple nodes (Link) and that the defined station number (Station) is correct. Next, under [Tag] setting, set each tag to its corresponding station number. Note that the station number that corresponds to each tag must be the same as the defined station number in the [PLC Setting].

A tag facilities the tracking of points and registers. (1) Easy to view and manage all the addresses of points and registers used in one list,  (2) when a controller needs to be changed, the programmer can export the tag list and change the tags of the relevant points and registers in EXCEL, and import the modified tag list back to the project, (3) tags can be set with recognizable names, such as descriptions of each widgets.

Yes, the application (.kpc) file can be named in Chinese if you transfer the file through Ethernet or USB cable. However, if you transfer the file through USB flash drives or SD cards, the file name will appear to be garbled texts on HMI system menu, which is not easy to recognize.

The installation will fail if the file name contains spaces or special characters like@, $, etc…

Please make sure the selected HMI model number in iFace Designer is the same as the HMI hardware where the file is to be installed.

If you did not change iFace Designer version to compile the applications, you only need to install the firmware for the first time.

If you ticked the "Include restored Information" box before file compilation in the iFace Designer, you are able to restore the compiled .kpc (application file) into .kpr (editable file). However, the .kpc file size will be bigger.

There might be warnings or errors detected during compilation. Warnings can be ignored without affecting the compilation; while the compilation will not complete until the errors are fixed.

Yes, iFace Designer supports OMRON NJ/NX series tag/variable import. Do not add station numbers to the imported tags, otherwise it will cause communication errors.
