Product Research & Development
NOVAKON yields over 20 years of expertise in the development of HMI technology. It actively engages in R&D, as well as design and production of software and hardware products.
NOVAKON primarily focuses on the production of ARM architecture industrial HMI systems, which includes RISC architecture of the HMI Hardware Platform: the ARM-based systems for the application of IIoT and Industry 4.0 Solution, processors including the ARM9/ARM Cortex A8/ARM Cortex A9 Dual-Lite, and various hardware platform series
CISC architecture: Various industrial Panel PC designed using the X86 system adopted by high-end industrial HMI hardware
HMI software editing program – iFace Designer: The software supports Linux and Windows operating systems. It features a wide variety of built-in graphic widgets and services, and adopts user-friendly and intuitive editing environment in designing an operation interface which satisfies both industrial and aesthetic requirements, thereby drastically reducing the time-to-market for our clients. Its multi-functional expansion accessories includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM, NBIoT, etc., which increases the wireless communication capabilities of HMI. Common protocols such as RestAPI/MQTT/OPC UA are developed to enhance data transmission functions between the iFACE Designer software and cloud/edge servers.
Research and development of ODM/OEM customized projects in various vertical markets: R&D technical support mode is converted to design and application mode, or “DNA” (Design aNd Application).

The iFace Designer HMI software (Software) is the founding core of NOVAKON’s business operations, and extends to the UI/UX design and unique customized services (Service) for various industrial applications. Seamless integration of multiple hardware platforms is then conducted to provide one-stop HMI Turnkey Solutions (Solution).
Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)
In addition to delivering SCADA and HMI solutions in CIM control and supervision layers, NOVAKON also provides ideal solutions and customized services for IIoT Gateway used for data collection as well as Dashboard used for enterprise situation room.
